Open mail desk

Who just landed, mark received, a four-line thanks card, and haul-photo rules — one page for the envelope in your hands.

Open mail (More menu, or Home) is a signed-in opening desk — the inbound twin of Mail day. It lists envelopes someone marked mailed to you with city and country only, never a street, plus their “what’s in the envelope” note if they wrote one. Print this open mail for a one-page sheet plus a haul-photo pocket you can fold to the front. Mark I received it on the swap or circle, write a four-line thanks, then public kudos. A paper card can ride in the next envelope.

A typical open-mail sitting

  1. Open mail. Print this open mail if you want ticks and a write box at the table.
  2. Open the envelope. Crop any street, tracking barcode, or return address before a photo.
  3. Mark I received it on the swap or circle so they can stop worrying.
  4. Write a four-line thanks (one thing you liked). Print thank-you cards if you want named cut cards for the next envelope. Public kudos is a separate one-sentence note.
  5. Optional: upload a haul photo. No child in the frame. Mixed-age community.
Don’t show up at a penpal’s house. Don’t put a street, tracking number, or password on paper you might photograph. Don’t photograph a child with the haul. Thanks is not a shopping list.
