Quiet swaps (More menu) is a signed-in check-in desk. It lists pending requests waiting on you, requests you sent, and accepted swaps with no update for two weeks. In-transit envelopes stay on Waiting — Mail is late is not a nudge. One kind reminder every few days is enough. Print this check-in sheet for a fridge script. City and country only, never a street.
A typical quiet sitting
- Open Quiet swaps. Accept or decline anything waiting on you first.
- Requests you sent: Remind them after seven days. Not daily DMs.
- Silent accepted swaps (14+ days, not in the post): one nudge, or close if plans fell through.
- Print this check-in sheet if you want ticks and a kind sentence on paper.
- If mail is already in the post, use Waiting instead.
Don’t show up at a penpal’s house. Don’t pile on in Introductions. A reminder is a swap-thread ping, not a cold DM across 13–17 and 18+. Close kindly — you can request again later.
