- Pending — waiting for accept/decline
- Accepted — addresses unlocked; time to pack and mail
- Mailed — one or both marked “I mailed it” (tracking, expect-around, and optional contents note)
- Received — mark when their mail arrives; thank-you posts to the thread
- Completed — both received (or someone marks completed)
- Closed / declined — ended without a full exchange
Quiet pending swaps may get remind/expire notices. Needs-me email digests help you catch requests waiting on you.
