Labels and packing notes — a short hello from Richard & Megan while tutorial clips are filmed.
- Open an accepted swap thread. The card says Do this next if you still need to pack.
- Print the first envelope kit (packing + letter) or the mailing label — To on the right for US-style envelopes.
- Add a packing note if you want themes, sizes, or “please avoid…” reminders.
- When you accept, you can set I’ll mail by (optional). When you drop it in the mail, mark “I mailed it.” Optional: paste a tracking number, an “expect around” date, and a short “what’s in the envelope” note (your partner can see that — packing notes stay private).
- Add a pack photo on the swap so your partner can peek (crop addresses). Haul photos after it lands also attach to that swap.
- If that date passes (or two weeks go by) and you still haven’t got it, tap Mail is late on Waiting or the swap. Hosts see a Late mail queue.
- Batch packing tools on Swaps help when you have several envelopes to send.
Only send legal, postal-safe mail. No illegal contents, hazmat, or anything that violates house rules or postal regulations.
