Request & accept a swap — a short hello from Richard & Megan while tutorial clips are filmed.
- Go to Directory (or a member’s page) and choose Request swap / Request again. Filter to My country if postage is tight, or filter by language they write in. People who chose “same country only” can’t be requested across borders.
- Pick the program if asked (stickers, Happy Mail, Mystery Mail). If they filled icebreakers, tap a chip to drop it into your note.
- If you’re in different countries, you’ll see an international mail reminder (no liquids, no perishable food, customs form if needed).
- The other person sees it under Swaps → Needs me (or Pending).
- They Accept (address unlocks per privacy) or Decline.
- Both of you get an in-app alert; email alerts follow if you left swap emails on.
After a finished swap, Request again keeps your prior message history so you don’t lose thank-yous and packing notes. Home and My penpals → Ready to write nudge you after 30 days with no new envelope. Directory and profiles show last mailed with that person.
