Richard & Megan’s Penpal Swapping Community is a free place to find swap partners, request mail exchanges, and keep track of what’s in the post. Postage is on you when you send; optional support tiers help keep the site online.
You can
- Browse the member directory and request sticker / Happy Mail / Mystery Mail swaps
- Message on each swap thread (themes, packing notes, thank-yous)
- Print mailing labels and packing notes when a swap is accepted
- Use the forum, gallery, Artists corner, Classroom, Workouts, and Mail day (who to pack, this week’s letter, print sheets)
- Follow Getting started on Home (privacy, looking-for, an introduction, a first request) — the full checklist is at /welcome
- Ask a first-swap buddy in your age group if you want a walk-through (Messages only — no street until a swap is accepted)
- Share your invite link — a community stamp unlocks when they finish real mail, not at signup
- Post what you’re looking for — and what you have to send — on the ISO board
- Thank a finished partner (public kudos plus four-line print cards for the next envelope), then write again after 30 days (same thread, same age-group manners)
- Pause your mailbox when you’re away or full
- Block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable
