A buddy is not a dating match and not an automatic address share. They help you pick what to send, how to mark mailed/received, and how to say thanks. 13–17 buddy with 13–17, 18+ with 18+; hosts can walk either group.
- If you’re new, open Buddies (More menu) and tap Ask to buddy — same age group, or a host.
- When they accept, the card says Do this next. Open Messages (street still locked), print the envelope kit, then request a swap with them or someone new in your age group.
- Classroom → First letter is the writing lesson if you want a script before you pack.
- After you’ve finished a swap, close the walk-through so they can help someone else — then you can offer to buddy the next new face on My profile.
Hosts and members who have completed at least one swap can offer. Each buddy can help up to two people at a time. Asking does not unlock a street. Mixed-age 13–17 and 18+ still cannot cold-message until an accepted buddy, accepted/finished swap, or a host.
